Rebecca Lynn “Becky” Highsmith Day passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Friday August 5, 2011 at Savannah Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. Ms. Highsmith was preceded in death by her mother: Vickie Lynn Highsmith and grandfather: George Harper. Funeral services will be held on Monday August 8, at 11 am in the First Assembly of God, Douglas GA with Rev. Marshall Adcock and Rev. Don Harper officiating. Interment will follow in the Douglas City Cemetery.
Becky is survived by her daughter: Railynn Drew Day of Broxton, her father: John Keith Highsmith of Douglas, her stepmother: Maria Highsmith of Douglas, a brother: John Thomas Highsmith of Douglas, grandparents: John Roy and Marianne Highsmith of Douglas, Mrs Evelyn Harper of Ambrose and a niece Lexi Rayne Highsmith.
