James H. Campbell, 67, of Bellingham died August 4 in his home.
Born in Glengarry, Nova Scotia, Canada, October 7, 1943, the son of the late Donald T. and Eva Mae (Gerroir) Campbell, he came to the United States in 1964 and had lived Mendon for many years before moving to Bellingham 15 years ago.
Mr. Campbell was a self-employed contractor in the local area for many years.
Jim was an avid hunter and golfer.
He is survived by his children, Terri Russo of Middletown, CA, Robert Campbell of Uxbridge, Sherri Guadagnoli of Mendon, Glen Campbell of Dudley and Elizabeth Watson of Mendon.
He is also survived by his brothers, Duncan Campbell of Glengarry, NS, Donnie Campbell of Franklin, David Curran of Sydney, and his sisters, Nina Cassivi of Sudbury, Loretta Aucoin of Halifax, NS, Janette (Robert) Gillis of Halifax, NS, Carol Gillis of Mabou, NS, Marlene (Angus D.) MacDonald of Mabou, NS, and Patsy Beaton of Halifax, NS.
He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 24 nieces and nephews.
He was the husband of Priscilla M. (Boulanger) Campbell of Mendon for 26 years.
His calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 9 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin 131 Main St. in Franklin from 4-7 p.m.
Services and interment will be private.
