Mrs. Mildred L. (Joubert) Dutra, of Taunton, died Saturday, August 6 in the Life Care Center of Raynham following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Arthur W. Dutra. She was born 80 years ago in Torrington, Ct., the daughter of the late Harold and Marion I. (Pierce) Joubert. She was educated in Taunton and had been a city resident for most of her life. Mrs. Dutra enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, dancing and spending time with her family. She attended the Silver City Baptist Church.
She leaves: 3 daughters: Brenda Lynch, Cheryl DeSousa, and Charlene Freeman all of East Taunton; 1 sister; Elsie Costa of Raynham; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dutra was also the sister of the late Harold Joubert and the late Lawrence Joubert.
A Funeral Service will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Wednesday, August 10 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Westville Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
