FALL RIVER … Barry L. Comstock, 67, of Fall River died unexpectedly at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Thursday, August 4, 2011.
He was the husband of Pauline (Antaya) Comstock of Fall River.
He was born in Fall River a son of the late Carlton and Anna (Pinkos) Comstock and had been a lifelong resident of the city.
He worked at various construction companies to name a few, A.A. Will in Acushnet, Flemming Engineering of Fall River, and Aluminum Processing of Fall River.
Mr. Comstock was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps for four years. He enjoyed fishing, baseball, gardening, and anything outdoors.
Survivors include his widow, 2 daughters: Carol Bernardo and Melissa Comstock both of Fall River, 3 sons: John Correira, Daniel Comstock, and Nathaniel Comstock all of Fall River, 2 sisters: Carole Rocheleau of Westport and Nancy Machado of Swansea, 2 brothers: Carlton Comstock of Fall River and Elbert Comstock of N. Attleboro, 8 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday at 8:30 A.M. from the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway, Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Name Church, Hanover Street, Fall River. Interment in Newport Memorial Park, Middletown, RI. Calling hours Monday 5 – 8 PM.
