Elsie M. (Putnam) Clymer, of Plymouth, passed away on July 31st at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late John Clymer. Mother of John Thomas Jones Jr. of RI and the late Richard, Michael, Ethelyn Marie and Donald, step-mother of John Clymer of CA and Charlotte (Clymer) of Amesbury . She was the grandmother of Marie Gomes of Plymouth, Donna McCassie of Taunton, Deborah Wood of NC and Henry Wood of Plymouth. She also leaves 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Elsie was born in Wakefield to the late Perley and Ethelyn (Chandler) Putnam. She graduated from Reading High School and later worked for W.T. Grant Department Store. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and crafts.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, August 4th from 6-8 pm at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 373 Court St., N. Plymouth. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 5th at 10 o’clock at the Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth.
