FALL RIVER… Adele M. (Rogers) Brousseau, 58, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Charlton Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
She was the companion of Daniel Correia with whom she had been with for 40 years.
Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Dolores (Motta) Rogers and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
Mrs. Brousseau enjoyed cooking and painting.
Along with her companion of 40 years, survivors include 2 sons: Henry Rogers and Willie Rogers, both of Fall River, 1 sister: Dolores Arruda of New York, 4 brothers: Thom Rogers of Georgia, Roy Rogers of Fall River, Stephen Rogers of Florida, Jason Rogers of Fall River, 5 grandchildren: Elizabeth, Jared, Britney, Henry Jr., Dillon, several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Cheryl Rogers.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM at SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River. Calling hours Thursday, 9-11 AM.
