WEBSTER – Robert E. “Monk” Daniels, 68, of Golden Heights, Building 6, died Friday, February 13, at home.
He leaves a daughter, Robin Rumrill and 2 sons, James A. Daniels and Jeffrey L. Daniels, all of Webster; 4 sisters, Constance E. Malboeuf, Rita C. Sokolowski, Theresa E. Gignac, and Ruth A. Hughes, all of Webster; 9 grandchildren, a great grandson, and nephews and nieces. A brother, Roger “Moose” Daniels, and a sister, Jane Dardeen, predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester, a son of Benjamin and Ruth (Biggert) Daniels, and lived here over 60 years.
Mr. Daniels was a heavy equipment operator for area companies, including Ceppetelli Construction Co., retiring in 1994. He was also a former constable for the Town of Webster and a founder of the Webster Frog Men. He was a member of the Booster Athletic Club and a life member of the Webster Fish and Game Club. He enjoyed golf.
A funeral service will take place Tuesday, February 17, at 8:30 PM in Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street Calling hours are from 7:00 to 9:00 that evening at the funeral home.
