Agnes C. McGarrett (Rock) age 87 formerly of Canton, of Bowling Green, Kentucky passed away July 29th at the Bowling Green Retirement Village. Born and raised in Roslindale, she graduated from Roslindale High School. She was married in 1947 and she and her husband moved to Canton in 1950, where she lived until February 2011. She was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church and a member of Sharon Country Club. Beloved wife of the late William S. Mother of William J. McGarrett of VA, Laura McGarrett Bowers of KY, Andrew P. McGarrett of TX & the late Janis M. O’Reilly. Also survived by 6 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. She was the grandmother of the late Raymond O’Reilly. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Tuesday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Wednesday morning at 10:30. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Agnes' memory to a charity of one's choice.
