Higgins and his wife Briel of Saugus. Cherished grandfather of Kyla, Nolan and Alyzabeth Higgins. Born in Revere and longtime Malden resident, Richard passed away in Florida after a short illness. For 30 years until his retirement in the mid 90's, Richard worked for the Malden Housing Authority. Richard was Past President of the Malden Moose and member of the Irish American Club.
