Worcester – Janice Laperle, 77, of Worcester passed away on Friday, July 29th in the Saint Francis Home after a long illness.
Janice was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Albert J. and Estelle R. (Gentesse) Laperle. She is survived by a brother Normand P. Laperle and his wife Betty of Sun City West, AZ and many nephews and nieces including her godchild Barbara Wlodyka of Hopkinton. Miss Laperle is predeceased by two brothers, Donald A. and Robert E. Laperle.
She is a graduate of Anna Maria College and worked as a school teacher for the Town of Paxton for 24 years and retired in 1991. Jan was a member of Saint Peter’s Church and the Holy Love Ministry based in Alaria, OH.
The funeral will be held on Monday, August 1st from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Saint Peter’s Church 931 Main St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 31st from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Saint Peter’s Church 929 Main St. Worcester, MA 01610.
