Ruth E. (Bates) Beatty, 92, of 14 Foster St., passed away Thursday, July 28, 2011 in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
She was born in Pascoag, Rhode Island and lived in Webster for 70 years.
Ruth leaves two sons; Leonard J. Beatty and his wife Sandra, and Harrison L. Beatty of Webster, two daughters; Linda R. Mikolajczak of Webster, and Lu Ann Budrow and her husband Rodney of Dudley. She leaves one brother,Homer Bates of Harmony, Maine, eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Ruth also leaves behind her fiance of ten years and love of her life, Warren Staples of Worcester.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard M. Beatty, a son, Guy M. Beatty and a daughter, Sue Ellen Levesque.
Ruth was deeply devoted to her family and spent many hours playing cards and board games with them. She loved to dance and play bingo.
The family would like to Thank the Summit Program in Charlton where she had attended the Day Program for the last several years. The staff gave our Mother wonderful days of memories.
Calling Hours for Ruth will be Sunday, July 31, 2011 from 5 to 7 PM at the Robert J. Miller Funeral Home and Lake Chapel, 366 School St.
A Funeral Service for Ruth will be Friday, August 5, 2011 at 11 AM at the United Church of Christ, Federated, 4 Church St. burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
