Obituary

WESTBOROUGH-Eva (Pigoga) Cotsidas, 95, of 1 Lyman Street, formerly of Richmond Avenue, Worcester died Thursday, February 12th in Beaumont Nursing Center. Her husband Angelus Cotsidas died in 1998. She leaves her son Nicholas Cotsidas of Carlsbad, CA, her daughter Valerie Pappas of Boston, a sister Mary Anusauskas of Worcester, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a nephew.

She was born in Worcester the daughter of Joseph and Agnes (Devinski) Pigoga. Mrs. Cotsidas graduated from Becker Business School and was a long time member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, the Ladies Philoptochos Society, the former Mother’s Guild and Archbishop Iakovos Leadership 100 and the Worcester Woman’s Club.

The funeral is Tuesday, February 17th with a service at 11:00 AM in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street. Entombment is in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, February 16th, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the Cathedral. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral Building Fund, 102 Russell Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
