Thomas J. Coffin, of Kingston formerly of Plymouth, died unexpectedly on July 26th at the age of 70. He is survived by his beloved wife Kathleen Ann (Longever) of Plymouth and his children James Coffin of Kingston, Kerri Coffin of Plymouth and Kelly Musial and her husband Donald of Pembroke. He also leaves his cherished grandchildren Brooke, Bryan and Bailey Musial all of Pembroke. Brother of Paul Coffin, John Coffin, Rose Coffin, Janet Hart, Carolyn Coffin, Barbara Sjostedt, Mary DeRochea, Peggy Holmes, Trudy Lavin, Judy Davis and the late Daniel Coffin and Madeline Chase.
Thomas was born in Roxbury and attended Duxbury High School. He had worked for Kingston Tire Co. for 20 years as a Front End Alignment Specialist and was a member of the Brockton Larborers’ Union Local 721, which he retired from in 2006. He enjoyed classic cars, playing pool, he was a champion pool player and a member of the APA, he had a love for eagles and especially spending time with his family.
Family and friends are invited to the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth on Friday July 29th from 5 to 8 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations in his memory be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1 Bromfield St, 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02108.
