Elena “Ellie” Marino, 79 of Medford, died Tuesday in the Sawtell Family Hospice House in Reading, MA.
Born in Boston, Elena lived in Medford for the past 45 years and was the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Carlito) and Antonio Condelli.
Elena worked at Paul Revere Insurance for many years and retired in 1997. She was also an active parishioner and volunteer at St. Paul Evangelical Church in Lexington. Elena devoted much of her time to the Children's Ministries and the Vacation Bible School.
Beloved wife of the late Leo Marino Sr. Devoted mother of John A. Marino of Chelmsford, Leo Marino Jr. of Braintree and Mary Ann O'Keefe of Malden. Loving grandmother of David, Diane, Samuel, Joseph, and the late Marc. Loving great grandmother of Michael, Cassidy and Keira. Sister of Joseph Condelli of Medford and the late Rosie, Angelo, Frances, Josephine,and Carmilla.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 10 AM followed by a service in St. Paul Evangelical Church, 451 Lowell St., LEXINGTON at 11 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Friday 4 - 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
