METHUEN – Lillian M. (Corbin) Ducharme 85 of Methuen died Sunday July 24, 2011 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.
Born and educated in Lowell, MA she was the daughter of Francis X. and Anastasia M. (Moreau) Corbin. For 20 years she worked as a stitcher at the Lowell Dress Company. She later worked at the Marine Nursing Home. She was an attendant of St. Theresa’s Church in Methuen, MA. She enjoyed sewing, was an avid reader and was a member of the Methuen Senior Center.
According to her family, Lillian is the last survivor of a large French Catholic Family.
The widow of Richard G. Ducharme, she is survived by her son Frank A. Pierce and his spouse Bob Horton of Punta Gorda, FL.
A niece and caregiver Francine P. Corbin of Pelham, NH and a great-nephew Travis J. Wallaker also of Pelham, NH.
Sister-in-law Henriette “Red” Corbin-Chenelle
Brother-in-law Joseph Breen
Several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call on Thursday from 3:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish/St. Theresa’s Church in Methuen, MA with entombment to follow in St. Mary Mausoleum in Lawrence, MA.
