Saugus, MA – Shirley (Comfort) Countaway, 85, died Saturday, July 23, 2011 in Laconia, NH.
She was born in Lynn, MA, the daughter of Charles and Augusta (Herrett) Comfort and step-daughter of Dorothy (Lynn) Comfort. Shirley was a 1944 graduate of Saugus High School.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Countaway, two daughters; Debra Bashford and Janice Countaway, two sisters, Beverly Damm and Marilyn Livingston, 3 grandchildren; Jessica Bashford, Kate Epsen and Kevin Ralph, 1 great-grandchild, Havilah Altstadt, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private.
