Worcester – Marie E. (Bouvier) Jakubiak, 67, of Worcester passed away on Saturday, July 23rd in her home in the presence of her loving family and friends.
Marie was born in Worcester on October 14, 1943. She was the daughter of the late, Harry and Helen (McKeown) Bouvier and is preceded in death by her brother, Harry Bouvier Jr.
Marie is survived by her beloved son, Keith Jakubiak and his wife Stacy LaBrie and her beloved grandson Derek Jakubiak. They were her life’s light, joy and inspiration. She is also survived by a sister in law, Janet Bouvier and many nieces and nephews.
Marie worked at State Mutual Insurance Company for 27 years retiring in 2003. She loved spending time playing cards and board games with her family and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 27th at 10:30 AM in Saint Joan of Arc Church 570 Lincoln Street. Burial will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Marie’s memory can be made to either the Saint Joan of Arc Building Fund 570 Lincoln Street Worcester, MA 01605 or to the Worcester Animal Rescue League 139 Holden Street Worcester, MA 01606.
