Pignatelli, Gerardo Joseph age 83 a resident of Oradell for over 60 years died peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 21, 2011. Father of Joseph G. Pignatelli and his wife Carol, Vincent Pignatelli, and Brad Stevens. Loving grandfather of Gerardo Joseph Pignatelli, II and his wife Julia, Joseph Salvatore Pignatelli and his wife Jennifer, and Nicholas James Pignatelli. Loving great-grandfather of Samantha, Alexa, Gianna, Joseph, John, and Nikki. Gerardo was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during WWII. He was a licensed electrician and the founder of G.J. Pignatelli Electric, Pignatelli Enterprises, and Quality Cooling Corp. He was also the founder of Dante’s Deli in River Edge. Funeral service Monday 9AM from the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell then to St. Joseph’s RC Church, Oradell for a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Hackensack. Family and friends are invited to visit Sunday 3-5 & 7-9PM.
