Cynthia Jean Gallagher-Kilbreth age 51 of Rockland formerly of Brockton died Wednesday July 20, 2011 at her home surrounded by her devoted family following a courageous battle with cancer. Cynthia was born in Boston to Nicholas and Jean (Williams) Paolini of Rockland and has lived throughout the South Shore all her life. She had worked at the former Jimmy’s Restaurant in Braintree and Eddie’s Diner formerly in Quincy.
Throughout her lengthy illness, Cynthia remained the kind and giving person loved by all.
She is survived by her husband Kim Kilbreth; her three children Crystal Gurney and Shawn Gallagher both of Randolph and Scott DeFranc of Rockland; her three grandchildren Serena, Alana and Alivia, and her siblings Nicholas Paolini of Whitman, Cheryl McDonald “Cindy’s Guardian Angel” of Rockland, Deborah Davis of Nevada, Richard Paolini of Stoughton, Ida Katsoulis of Methuen and Michael Paolini of Abington.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Monday July 25 from 3-6 pm. The funeral procession will form at the funeral home Tuesday at 8 am followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Brockton at 9 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery.
