BLACKSTONE—Judy A. (Thornhill) Dellorco 58, of Blackstone, and a former longtime Franklin resident, died Wednesday July 20, 2011 at Milford Regional Medical Center following an illness.
Born August 25, 1952 in Milford, a daughter of Lillian A. (Berghelli) Thornhill of Franklin and the late James Thornhill, Sr. she had lived most of her life in Franklin, until moving to Blackstone 3 years ago.
She was raised and educated in Franklin, and graduated Magna Cum-Laude from Dean College where she received an associate’s degree in business administration. For many years she was the owner and bartender at the former Barringer’s restaurant in Franklin.
She enjoyed time spent with her family and friends, riding motorcycles, bingo, and going to Foxwoods & Twin River.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by 2 sons; Michael L. Faenza of Bellingham & Paul D. Dellorco of Franklin, a brother James Thornhill, Jr. and his wife Suzanne of Franklin and several nieces & nephews. Also surviving is her beloved dog Marty.
She was the sister of the late Lawrence Thornhill.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Tuesday July 26th, at 10AM in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, www.oterifuneralhome.com.
Interment will take place Saturday July 30th, in Union Street Cemetery at 9:00AM.
Calling hours are Monday July 25th, from 4-8PM at the funeral home.
