Kimberly Marie MacDonald of Santa Monica, CA, formerly of Natick, died Wednesday, July 20, 2011 surrounded by her loving family in her brother’s home in Ashland.
Born in Boston, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ronald F. and Marie Jeanette (Campbell) MacDonald.
Kim was a software engineer for the Lockheed Martin Corporation.
She attended the Natick School system and graduated from Natick High School. She continued her education and later graduated from Northeastern University.
Kim loved to travel and has friends all around the globe.
She loved the ocean, fine wine, drawing, the beach, and her laptop.
Her favorite travel spots were Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, & Santa Monica, California.
She is survived by one brother Ronald F MacDonald, Jr. and his wife Betty Ann, along with their children Shane and Jeanette of Ashland as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Kim confronted her cancer with courage, dignity, and strength. She refused to let her illness define her and faced each day with a passion for living. She was an inspiration to us all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday, July 25 at 8:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Linus Church, 119 Hartford Street Natick at 9:00 A.M.
Visiting hours are Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
