Barbara A. Connery, 85, of St. Cloud, Florida, passed away Monday, June 20, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Grace (Morrison) Cowee.
Barbara was born and raised in Natick. She attended St. Patrick’s Grammar School and graduated from Natick High School in 1943 where she was a cheerleader and secretary of her class. Barbara supported all Boston teams especially the Boston Celtics which she had season tickets for many years.
Barbara was a loving and devoted mother to her daughter Cheryl A. Ozzella who passed away in 1990.
She is survived by her stepson, Walter Connery III and his wife, Barbara M. Connery; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and her beloved dogs, Bridgett and Brandi. Barbara was predeceased by her spouses Phillip Ozzella and Walter Connery II; siblings, Harold B. Cowee, Ruth Pentes, Alice Fitzgerald, Grace Cella, Marjorie Brooks, Betty Ballard and Eleanor Murphy.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a funeral service to celebrate Barbara’s life on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 11AM in the chapel of the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street (at Natick Common) NATICK. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Natick. There will be no visiting hours.
