Obituary

Anna G. Lunetta, age 87, of Woburn formerly of Medford passed away July 19th, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington following a short illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph R. Lunetta. Born in Boston she was one of seven children of the late Herbert and Evelyn (Babin) Rikeman.

Anna has been a Woburn resident for nearly twenty years. She worked for a number of years as a nursing aid at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford. Anna was a very creative and talented artist and enjoyed crafting beautiful objects throughout her life. Her greatest joy came from her family. She cherished spending time with her children and especially enjoyed her time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her late husband and parents, Anna is predeceased by her sister, Mary Small and brothers, Walter and Herbert Rikeman. She is survived by her children, JoAnn Boback and her husband Edward of Reading, Christine Dyer and her husband Deric of Medford, Joseph Lunetta, AnnMarie Milone and her husband Tony, all of Woburn. She is also survived by twelve loving grandchildren and five loving great grandchildren. She is further survived by her sisters, Helen Kilfoyle of California, Bernice Gostanian and Jane Sweetser both of Arlington.

Funeral from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Saturday, July 23rd, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday from 4 thru 8. Interment services will be private. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Anna's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
