Gary Robert Cini, 46, of Colman Street, New London, died Tuesday at his home.
Gary was born in Westerly on October 31, 1957 to Robert L. Cini of Groton and Barbara (Hess) Johannemann of Noank. Known for his love of animals, Gary was especially close to his cat.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Barbara and John “Jack” Johannemann of Noank, and his father and stepmother, Robert L. and Donna Cini of Groton.
Gary’s family will greet relatives and friends at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Friday from 6-8pm.
His funeral will begin on Saturday at 9:30am and proceed to a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick Church, E. Main Street, Mystic at 10am, celebrated by Fr. Charles A. McGrail, Pastor. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Old Mystic.
