(Halliday) Murphy. Devoted father of Rev. Thomas R. Murphy S.J. of Seattle, WA. Dear brother of Leo J. Murphy and his wife Joyce of Winthrop and the late Margaret M. Murphy. Adored uncle of Anne Eruzione, Barbara Zappulla, and Susan Perrotti all of Winthrop, Michael Murphy of Plymouth, Dale Curran of FL, Dennis Cashman of Peabody, and Ann Fogarty of Lynn. Also survived by many grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Sat, July 23, at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will be in Winthrop Cemetery. Visiting hours are Fri. only 4-8pm.
