HARRISON, WILLIAM LUKE, JR., passed away Sunday July 17, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Luke Harrison Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Pamela Shipley Harrison; and their children, Stephanie Blevins (Edwin) and William "Luke" Harrison III. Also his mother, Dolores Harrison; sisters, Lisa Stretch (Clay) and Linda Lucas (Gary); grandchildren, Wyatt, Kyra and Dalton Blevins; stepgrandchildren, Brandon and Candace Blevins; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
He began his lifelong career of air traffic controller while serving in the US Marine Corps and is a lifetime member of the Marine Corps League and a member of American Legion Post #157.
His funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday. Online condolences at owenfuneralhome.com In lieu of flowers, expressions may be made to the family.
