Drasser Walter G. age 68, of Natick, formerly a longtime resident of Wellesley, left this world entirely too early on July 16, 2011. He passed away unexpectedly Saturday evening at his home. Walt, as he was affectionately known by so many, adored and cherished the community, friends, and family that have blessed our lives for years. He led his life with reliable patience, good humor, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved.
Those close to Walt knew that his large and still growing family was his proudest achievement. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend Ellin (Braun) Drasser and his five children, daughter Kristine Vogelsang, her husband Eric, and their children Nina and Jack; son Gregory Drasser, his wife Gina and their children Ethan and Emma; son Timothy Drasser, his wife Jennifer and their children Madeline, Philip, Rachael, and Troy; daughter Katie Drasser and her fiancé Jeffrey Hodges; and his son, Matthew Drasser. He leaves his former wife Judith Brandon. Walt is also survived by his brother James Drasser and his wife Jill and; he was predeceased by his sister Dorothy Muller.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, July 22 at 3:00 p.m., Hamilton Chapel, Belmont Hill School, 350 Prospect St., Belmont, MA. Reception to follow in the MacPherson Room.
