Mrs. Elaine R. (Rocheleau) Candiano, a longtime resident of Andover and beloved wife of the late Joseph Candiano, died at the Lawrence General Hospital on Sunday, July 17, 2011. She was 83 years old.
Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, on January 10, 1928, she was the beloved daughter of the late Emil and Elsie (Carlson) Rocheleau. Mrs. Candiano was a member of the Free Christian Church in Andover, for many years.
She will be missed by her two son’s: Douglas R. and his wife Cynthia Berube of Salem, New Hampshire and David C. and his wife Linda Berube of Andover, six grandchildren; Jason Berube, Crystal Ortlieb and Douglas J., Heather, Rachael and David J. Berube, nine great-grandchildren and four brother’s; Edward Rocheleau of Oxford, Donald Rocheleau of Worcester, Peter Rocheleau of Oxford and David Rocheleau of Florida.
Her funeral service was celebrated in the Free Christian Church, 31 Elm Street, Andover, Thursday at 10 AM. Many relatives and friends are respectfully attended. Calling hours were held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Wednesday, from 4 to 7 PM. Burial was in Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover.
