William Jack “Bill” Fletcher, 51, of Tifton died Monday, July 18, 2011, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2011, in the Memorial Chapel of Tifton’s First Baptist Church. Dr. Wayne Roe and Greg Sheppard will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Jasper Sears, David Conger, Tommy Cole, Van Graves, Billy Driggers and Ron Twilley will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Fletcher was born on May 30, 1960 in Tift County and was the son of Betty Geoghagan Fletcher of Tifton and the late Willie Jack Fletcher. He was owner of Fletcher Limestone and a member of Tifton’s First Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Fletcher is survived by his wife, Brenda Dixon Fletcher of Tifton; one son, Dixon Fletcher of Tifton; one daughter, Sloan Fletcher of Tifton; three sisters, Debbie Fletcher and Sandra Webb, both of Tifton and Kay Fletcher of Augusta; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Oran and Joyce Dixon of Blackshear.
