Martha "Anne" Decker Hillyer of Merritt Island, Florida entered into eternal rest on July 13, 2011 at the age of 86. She was born on March 10, 1925 to the late Charles DeForest and Clara Catherine Fussel Decher. She is and will always be our most precious mother and grandmother. She was also a wonderful wife to our father of 63 years who passed away last month. Anne was a Life Master Bridge player, and incredible cook, seamstress, homemaker, and enjoyed volunteering when able. Survivors include her loving children Wallace "Hagen" Hillyer Jr., (wife Hoa Thi Tran) of Merritt Island, daughter Debra Hillyer Key of Pilot Mountain, NC, and her granddaughter, Hana Anne Hillyer. She is also survived by sisters Olive Bishop, Gloria Powers, and one brother Robert Decker. Anne was preceded in death by Grady Lee Mayer Broad and Col. Charles Decker. She will join her husband at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida at a time to be determined later. Many blessings and much love go to our dearest and most beloved mother!
