DENNISPORT____Josephine S. (Kosakowski) Cusick, 90, of Dennisport, died Monday Feb. 9. She was the wife of William B. Cusick who died in 1973.
Mrs. Cusick was born in Poland and was raised in Worcester. She then lived in Auburn before moving to Cape Cod several years ago.
She is survived by two sons, Carroll R. Cusick and his wife Rosemarie of Dennisport with whom she made her home, and Henry P. Cusick and his wife Loretta of Worcester; six grandchildren, Dr. William Cusick of Glendale, CA., Ernest Cusick, Esq. of Clifton Park, NY, Dr. Paul Cusick of Boston; Deborah DeFranco of Falls Church, VA., Kathleen Nye of Stevangar, Norway and Judith Cusick of Ramsey, NJ. She is also survived by a step sister, Sophie Manzello of Worcester and a sister-in-law, Frances Kay of Shrewsbury and several nieces and a nephew. Her brother, John Kay died before her.
Mrs. Cusick was a stitcher several years at David Clark Co., working on astronaut space suits. She was a volunteer at the Auburn Senior Center and was an avid bowler. She attended St. Mary’s School, Worcester. Mrs. Cusick was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Harwich.
The funeral will be held on Friday Feb. 13 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant St., Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours in the funeral home are Friday Feb. 13 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Harwich at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Church St. Vincent de Paul Society, 1052 Pleasant St., Worcester, 01602 or to Family Pantry, Queen Anne Rd., Harwich, 02645.
