Angelina Rose (Meninno) D’Amadio, 88, died Wednesday, July 13, at the West Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brockton. She was the beloved wife of the late Angelo D’Amadio. Daughter of the late Rocco and Rose (Cutillo) Meninno, she was born in Mansfield and was raised and educated in Canton. Mrs. D’Amadio was a longtime resident of both Canton and West Bridgewater, before moving to Stoughton 15 years ago. She was a homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, bowling, arts & crafts, traveling to Foxwoods and playing the lottery.
She was the loving sister of Mary Roderigues, Louise Meninno and Carol Meninno all of Stoughton, Catherine Cooper and her husband William of NC, Elizabeth Walsh and her husband Augustine and Joseph Meninno and his wife Anna all of TX, Loretta Smith and her husband Kenneth of FL, Alexander Meninno and his wife Jean of Mansfield, Anthony Meninno and his wife Lorraine of Brockton, George Meninno and Rocco Meninno both of Clinton, Albert Meninno of Taunton and Charles Meninno of Canton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Monday, July 18, at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday from 3-6 PM. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
