Carolyn Wells Garner, of Chase City, VA, departed this life peacefully on July 13, 2011. She was survived by her devoted husband of 46 years, Glenn, two daughters, Cheryl and husband Bill Joynt, Wendy and husband Jason Mull, two grandchildren, Hannah and Carter Mull, and her devoted sister Mary Laura King, as well as nieces and nephews and other loving friends. Carolyn was a retired registrar of Mecklenburg County. The family will be receiving friends at their home at all times. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home chapel.
