Mary E. Manning, 96 of New Bedford died July 13, 2011 at home.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late James L. and Ellen (Moriarty) Manning, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was an active communicant of St. Lawrence Church.
Miss Manning was formerly employed as a secretary at ComGas for many years until retirement.
She was a graduate of New Bedford High School and Bryant College. She was a volunteer at Sacred Heart Nursing Home.
Survivors include many cousins including Betsy Allen of New Bedford.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. Monday, July 18th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Lawrence Church at 10 AM. Visiting hours are omitted.
