Obituary


Anne M. (Janosky) Carroll, 93, of Kingston, formerly of Plymouth and Abington, passed away on July 12th in the Wingate @ Silverlake, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Owen Carroll.

She was born in North Abington, daughter of the late Waclaw and Veronika (Rormejka) Januszeski.

Anne lived in Abington before joining the United States Navy as a First Class Seaman, she served her country from 1944-1946.

She then moved to Brockton when she married her husband Owen.

They then lived in Avon, while she was working at the former Plymouth Home National Bank and also with Cumberland’s Farms. She was a resident of the Plymouth Crossing for 5years and a resident at the Wingate @ Silverlake for the past 5 years.

Anne was a member of the WAVES National and the Ladies Auxiliary VFW # 8892 in Avon.

She is survived by her 2 daughters Donna Hall and her husband Barry of East Falmouth and Gerri Macrina and her husband Vincent of Bridgewater, her daughter-in-law June Carroll of CA. her brother Thomas Januszeski and his wife Lorraine of CT., Paul Januszeski and his wife Barbara of Rockland; also 6 grandchildren, Marc and Lia Macrina, Matthew Hall, Amanda Huffman, Jason and JD Carroll, 2 great grandchildren Emily Macrina and Connor Hall. She was also the mother of the late Jerome Carroll.

Her funeral mass will be held on Friday July 15th at 9:00AM in the St. Bridget Church, Abington, MA. Interment will be in the MA VA National Cemetery in Bourne, MA at 1:15PM .Visitation omitted by request of the family .Donations can be made in her name to the Brockton High School Music Department, C/O Vincent Macrina, 470 Forest St., Brockton, MA 02301
