Obituary

John P. “Dutch” Holland, Sr., 80, of Key West, FL died Fri., July 8th at his home surrounded by his family.

John was born and educated in Lawrence, MA the son of the late Julia (Callahan) and John Holland. He graduated from Central Catholic High School. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War.

John was a Salem, NH Police Officer retiring in 1976. He received the Officer of the Year Award in 1960 and 1963. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW Post #8546 and the DAV of Salem. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing.

He was predeceased by his wife June (Murphy) Holland.

Timmy and his wife Charlene of Haverhill, MA
Danny of Key West, FL
Patrick and his wife Debbie of Derry, NH
Matthew of Key West, FL

Daughter: Mary Jane Holland of Portsmouth, NH

7 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Granddaughter

Calling hours will be held Friday, July 15th from 5-8 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.

The Funeral Mass will be Sat., July 16th at 10AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial is in Pine Grove Cemetery.
