STICKNEY, Helene (Kreutterer)- Of Malden, July 9th. Devoted wife of the late Allan D. Stickney, III. Beloved mother of Deborah Reddick and her husband Raymond Paradis of Malden, Charles Cummings and his wife Lisa of Pepperell, Christine Salvetti and her husband Mark of Saugus, Karin Nader and her husband Frederick of Windham, NH, Helene Savage and her husband Michael of Foxboro and Holly Hurd and her husband Lawrence of Saugus. Dear sister of Heribert Kreutterer and his wife Inge of Germany and the late Josef and Lilly. Lovingly survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Wednesday, July 13th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden at 10 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Carroll Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Expressions of sympathy in Helene's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
Born in Munich, Germany 72 years ago, Helene passed away late Saturday afternoon at the Peabody Glen Health Center. Having spent her early years in Penzburg, Germany, she arrived in Malden in 1957 and has been a member of the community since. Her early working years were at Tranitron and then as a Hostess at Tricca's and Stickney's. The last 10 years, prior to her retirement in 2004 she worked as an office assistant for Liberty Mutual. Her self taught English and her United States Citizenship were, beside her family, most important to her.
