NORTH DIGHTON – Priscilla M. (Horton) Chace, wife of the late Charles W. Chace, died at her North Dighton home after a brief illness on July 7, 2011.
She was 87.
Born in Dighton, she was the daughter of the late Roy W. and Elsie M. (Evans) Horton.
Raised and educated in the Dighton area, she was a graduate of Dighton High School.
Mrs. Chace resided in North Attleboro for many years and later moved back to North Dighton, where she spent her remaining years.
She enjoyed bird watching, and cherished the time spent with her family above all else.
Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Buffington and her husband John of North Dighton, and Deborah Fernandes of Pawtucket, RI; two sisters, Janice McClellan and her husband Fran, and Carole Kingman, all of N. Dighton; her daughter-in-law, Jennifer Chace of Foster, RI; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Charles R. Chace.
Funeral services will be private by request of the family.
