Catherine A. "Kay" (Spencer) Seale 81 years, of Brockton died quietly at home surrounded by her loving family July 7, 2011. She was born in Charlestown to George and Cecelia (Sheehan) Spencer and raised in both Charlestown and South Boston before moving to Brockton in 1967.
Catherine was a very social lady who put others needs before her own. She was a dedicated mother and homemaker. In earlier years she enjoyed her several trips cross country with her late husband Richard G. Seale; stopping in Reno for some gambling along the way. In later years her gambling was more of the local variety along with her fun playing bingo.
She is survived by her daughter Catherine A. "Kay Kay" DiBlasi and her husband Salvatore of Stoughton, their children Gunnery Sgt Jay DiBlasi and his wife Susan and their daughter Courtney of Yuma, Arizona, John J Di Blasi of Dartmouth and Vera DiBlasi of Fall River; her son Bob Seale and her youngest daughter Mary Milligan and her daughter Brooke S. Milligan all of Brockton.
Visiting hours in the Conley Funeral Home (Rte 123) Brockton Monday 4-7 PM. Funeral procession forming Tuesday at the funeral home at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Edith Stein Parish at 9 AM. She will be laid to rest with her husband Richard in the Veterans section of Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
