Goffstown– Gary D. Pancoast, 60, died July 6, 2011 at the Elliot Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Gorham, ME on January 11, 1951 the son of Barbara Pancoast and the late Wynfield Pancoast. He had been a resident of Goffstown for many years.
He was educated in Manchester schools and was a graduate of Manchester Memorial High School Class of 1969 and attended the University of New Hampshire.
Prior to his illness he had worked in manufacturing as a materials manager.
He was an avid golfer, loved reading, music and collected comic books.
Members of his family include his wife of 30 years, Ann (Knight) Pancoast of Goffstown, his mother of Manchester, three brothers, Stephen Pancoast of PA., Jeff Pancoast of CO., David Pancoast of Ipswich, MA., one sister Barbara Boland of Dracut, MA., several nieces, nephews and cousins.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 to 8 PM at the J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St., Manchester, NH
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 AM in St. Lawrence Church, Goffstown, NH
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford, MA at a later date.
