Methuen, Ma. - Linda (Johnston) Gilleece, LPN, and 62 yrs. died Monday July 4, 2011 at Tufts Medical Center.
Born in Ayer, November 28, 1948, Mrs. Gilleece was a graduate of Acton-Boxborough High School. She had formerly resided in Somerville.
For many years Linda worked at Cantabrigdia Nursing Home in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
According to some, Linda was very proud of her family, and considered by many family members to be the consummate grandmother.
Linda was the widow of Paul J. Gilleece, Sr. and is survived by her son Paul J. Jr. and his wife Suzanne M. of Methuen, two grandchildren Colin and Ryan and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Linda was predeceased by her mother Mary (Pacy) Johnston, and her sister Brenda Johnston.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday morning at 9 o’clock in Saint Monica’s Church in Methuen.
Friends will be warmly received on Sunday from 3-7 p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
