Sarah Danford Angle-Giddens, 35, of Enigma died Monday, July 4, 2011, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2011, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Shaun Suggs and Rev. Raymond Cason will officiate with burial to follow in Enigma Cemetery. Toney Angle, Matthew Angle, Joshua Giddens, Les Pate, Andrew Angle and Michael Danford will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Hulett, Larry Miller, Cecil Giddens, Keith King and Jim Edmondson. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Giddens was born on December 15, 1975 in Orlando, Florida and was the daughter of Melvin Danford of Fitzgerald and the late Betty Ross Danford. In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Jenny Durrance. She was a homemaker and loved her kids and family. She had lived in Enigma for 20 years.
In addition to her father, Melvin Danford of Fitzgerald, Mrs. Giddens is survived by her husband, Bruce Giddens of Enigma; two sons, Steven Angle and Josh Angle, both of Enigma; one step-son, Joshua Giddens of Clarkesville, Tennessee; one daughter, Charlotte Angle of Enigma; one step-daughter, Jessica Willis of Clarkesville, Tennessee; two brothers, Byron Danford and Kenneth Danford, both of Enigma; two sisters, Melaney Weaver of Tifton and Sandra Marshall of Macon; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up at the Bank of Alapaha in Enigma for medical expenses to assist the family.
