WEST BOYLSTON-Jeanne L. (LaBrie) Garabedian, 79, of West Boylston died Friday, July 1st in her home. She leaves a daughter, Cynthia Newark and her husband, Brian of East Douglas; three sons, Kenneth M. Garabedian and his wife Donna of Worcester, Jeffrey J. Garabedian and his wife, Danae of Hamden, CT and Ronald J. Garabedian and his wife, Suzan of Worcester; her companion of 35 years, Joseph Cullen and his sons, David and Stephen; two sisters-in-law, Lorraine LaBrie of Yarmouthport and Helen Garabedian of Shrewsbury; eight grandchildren, Victor, Matthew, Brian, Melissa, Brett, Marissa, Griffin and Camden; several nephews and a niece, including Steven and David. She was predeceased by her former husband, Kenneth J. Garabedian and a brother, Francis LaBrie.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Wilfred and Jeanne (Langelier) LaBrie. Jeanne graduated from South High School and was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. She worked at Worcester County Institute Savings for many years. Jeanne volunteered for the Auburn VNA as a senior companion for nearly 20 years.
The funeral is THURSDAY, July 7th with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are TUESDAY, July 5th from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester.
