Mary (Barboza) Botelho, 87, of Dartmouth died on February 7, 2004 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness.
She was the wife of the late Manuel J. Botelho and daughter of the late Manuel J. and Maria (Reis) Barboza.
Mrs. Botelho was born in New Bedford and lived in New Bedford most of her life before moving to Dartmouth 30 years ago.
She was formerly employed as a stitcher at several local textile mills for many years until her retirement.
Mrs. Botelho was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church.
She enjoyed the company of her dog Kooky.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Louise Botelho of Dartmouth; a sister, Angelina Botelho of New Bedford; several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Frank Barboza, George Barboza anf Lydia B. Nunes.
