In Raynham, June 28, 2011, Charles “Chuck” Sweeney, age 59 passed away after a period of failing health. He was the son of the late Harold and Doris (Bertowice) Sweeney. Chuck was born in Brockton, MA and has lived in Raynham for the past 57 years. He was a graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School. Chuck was an avid gardener, raising sunflowers that reached 12 feet tall! His interests included sailing, canoes, computer designing and leatherwork. Chuck is survived by his brother, Harold Sweeney of Taunton, his sister, Donna Mosco and husband Thomas of NH. His nephews: Thomas Mosco and James Sweeney, niece Aimee Mosco and great nephew Marco Capobianco. His family would like to thank the friends who were there to help Chuck during these past months. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton, Wed, July 6th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Ann’s Church in Raynham at 10 AM. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 6-8 PM. Interment Pleasant Street Cemetery in Raynham.
