Christine T. (Gagne Lahousse) Landi, 63, of Providence Pike, died Monday, June 27, 2011 at home. She was the wife of Joseph R. Landi. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of Therese Gagne, and raised by her grandparents, the late Lucien and Edwidge Gagne.
Christine was a graduate of St. Clare High School. She later worked at the Carriage Trade, with Hospice at St. Antoine's and CVS doing third party billing for over twenty years. Her greatest pleasure was caring for her family, but she also enjoyed Quilt Club, cooking and craft making. She will be remembered as a wonderful, good hearted woman who was helpful to anybody who asked. A terrific wife and mother, she will be missed by all. God will make her very happy in Heaven.
In addition to her husband Joseph, she is survived by her daughter, Catherine Lahousse of MA, her son Andrew Lahousse and his wife Nicole of Blackstone, stepchildren Joseph Landi Jr and his wife Mitch of Harrisville, David Landi and his wife Lynn of Pascoag, and Pamela Henault of N. Smithfield, and grandchildren Kayleigh, Jacob, Damien, Andrew, and Aeona Lahousse.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM in the Fournier and Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St, Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Precious Blood Church, Carrington Ave, Woonsocket.
