Donna J. Fletcher, 62, of Metamora passed away at 4:55pm on Monday June 27, 2011 at her residence with family by her side.
She was born on February 10, 1949 in Springfield, IL the daughter of Lyle and Betty George Coy. She married Gordon L. Fletcher on December 28, 1968 in Springfield.
Surviving are her husband, one daughter Chanel (Jim) Withers of Peoria and their children Indy and Coco, two sons Jacob (Maura) of Lakewood, CO and Aaron of Washington and his children Noah and Eliza. Also surviving is her mother of Springfield, three brothers Dennis (Judy) Coy, Steve (Connie) Coy, and Tom Coy. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother Walter.
Donna, owner of Love Flowers, planted many beautiful flower gardens. She was an avid gardner and homemaker, and attended Bradley Epworth Church in Peoria. A natural health advocate, she mentored women and developed many friendships throughout her life. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and family in the northwoods of Minnesota.
A funeral service is scheduled for 7pm Thursday June 30th, at Mason Funeral Home in Germantown Hills with the Rev. Edwin Misagaro officiating. Visitation will be from 4pm until her time of service. Cremation rites will follow, and private burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Metamora.
