Peter F. Giannini of Canton, June 27, 2011. Age 81. Born in Boston he was the son of the late Carmen and Paula Giannini-Omogrosso of Italy.
Peter was a retired chef who throughout the years worked in many Boston restaurants.
Devoted husband of Ann P. Giannini (Ellis) for over 43 years. Loving father of Frank Giannini, Lucy Giannini, Linda Grant of FL., Paul Vinciguerra of Dedham, Stephen Vinciguerra and his wife Brenda of Abington, Gary Vinciguerra and his wife Pauline of Canton, Harriett Duggan and her husband Paul of Easton, Peter Giannini and his wife Stephanie of CT. Loving brother of Mary Ann Dargon and her husband James of N.H., Phyllis Gill and her husband Charles of CA, Dolores Giannini of Somerville, Joseph Omogrosso and his wife Claire of N.H., Beth Oliveira and her husband Dan of Woburn, and the late Carmen Jannini and the late Robert Giannini.
He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM in the Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St. Canton. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John the Evangelist Church Washington St. Canton. Friday July 1, 2011 at 10:30 AM. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park.
