Ronald A. Lussier 91, of Diamond Hill Rd. died Sunday at St. Antoine Residence. He was the husband of Vivian (Labonte) Lussier. Born in Danielson, CT, he was a son of the late Amidee and Mary Jane (Bouley) Lussier. Mr. Lussier was a textile executive and was instrumental in founding Jacob Textile which he ran for eight years, after a change of hands it became Hanora Textile and he was the general manager for over twenty five years. He was an avid golfer and after his retirement enjoyed working at NewEngland Country Club. Mr. Lussier was a WWII Navy Veteran.
Besides his wife he is survived by four sons Ronald R. Lussier of Pawtucket, Dennis A. Lussier of N. Smithfield, Paul E. and Alan R. Lussier both of Woonsocket, two daughters Yvonne Pepin of Blackstone, and Suzanne Godbout of Harrisville, a sister Doris Lezy of Woonsocket, nine grandchildren, fourteen great- grandchildren, four Step grandchildren, thirteen step great- grandchildren and four step great- great -grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Clarence, Bertrand, and Robert Lussier, and Jeannette Martha Fredette.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph's Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Tuesday 5-7 PM.
