Janice Faye Stapleton, age 70, of Fitzgerald, GA passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Stapleton was born on July 20, 1940 to the late Thomas Marion and Nannie Jane Cantrelle Williams in West Liberty, KY. Mrs. Stapleton was preceded in death by her husband: Billy Clyde Stapleton. She had worked for Campbell Foods and she was a member of the Southview Church of God. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the Southview Church of God at 4:00 p.m. with interment following in the Denton City Cemetery. Survivors include: daughters: Belinda Carol (Colonel) Taft, Fitzgerald, GA and Revonda Jane Cato, Douglas, GA; sons: Henry J. (Lorrie) Hutson, Denton, GA and Mitchell Franklin Hutson, Douglas, GA; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Sims Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
